I am sorry I have not been around much the past week. Things have gotten crazy on this end, and my muse has been suffering horribly as a result. I will try to get back in the game soon...

That's fine, mercury. We are all going to be having those kinds of weeks for a long time. So long as we want this place to keep going, and we keep coming back, we'll do our damnedest to make sure The Black Mountain Saga continues.

Yes, its all right Merc. Take the time you need to sort things out and to get yourself back on the track. The rp's are not walking away, besides they must be seen as 'fun' and not as 'work'. Even that there are maybe some persons around that may see it that way.

I also have something that might interest everyone here. A friend of mine, Greg, started a game known as "Militaria." In essence, it is a quiz game. One is presented with a tidbit about military history, told whether or not they can research it, and given a multiple-choice answer.

It's not for points. Just for fun. I'll do that one too if there's enough interest, or maybe I can lure my friend Greg here to do it for me, since he's a bonifide genius.

My muse has seemed to have recovered, but I had an idea (it's also in another thread on here) to have a General RP of Inception?

ALSO. Anyone on the old forum would remember that we also had a Lion King roleplay... any chance that could be brought back? Fo me, at least, sometimes my characters just need a rest and I need to write for others to get my muse back!

In a virtual pet site I'm on there's tons of games. Here's some:

Corrupt A Wish:

You make a wish and then someone corrupts it.

poster a) I wish I had a balloon
poster b) Granted, but the balloon is popped

then poster b makes a wish, etc etc.

True or False:
Basically, one person makes a statement, the next person says true or false, and than makes their own statement! Like this.

Person 1: The next person hates grapes.
Person 2: EW GRAPES. True D< The next person knows someone who's name starts with Q.
Person 3: False. ;_; The next person hates the color yellow.
etcetc

Animals A-Z
You basically just list animals, both alive or extinct, that start with the letter of the alphabet next in the list. You can also add a small picture (don't scroll off the page please) if you think no one will know what animal you've named. If you name an animal with Z then the next person starts over with A and we go from there!

I like those games.

I'm not sure we need a whole TLK RP area right now, but if you want to create something in general RP, we can see how much popularity it gains, Merc.

... yeah, so my downtime is going to extend for just about the rest of the summer and maybe beyond that. My muse for this place has just sunk down so much that it is difficult to get a short post out.

I'll try to finish owed posts and then get replies out twice a week or so. I'll also try and start that Inception and/or TLK roleplay to try and jumpstart my muse a bit.

Sorry, guys. I thought I could get back into the swing of things... but I guess I can't for the time being.

Like Fauna said it, good luck on getting and finding your muse back, Mercury.

For that of my rp, take the time for it, no need to try to push and rush your post for it.

That of the inception Movie. I have seen it, and I liked it, even it is a complicated to fully understand it. As it is about a dream within a dream, etc. to just to find the information you need, or the thing you want to change of the person.

Self I think it is a bit high reached for me to take part in that rp. as I am just a simple person.

Oh, one other thing, if you see me in the chat here, feel free to drop by, this goes for everyone. I don't bite.

As others have said, don't try to push yourself to get your muse back. It'll come back eventually, you'll see. Although, try listening to music it might help you get the creative juices flowing.
