Name: Aloe Vera
Description: - A stemless or very short-stemmed plant. The leaves are thick and fleshy, green to grey-green. and has small white teeth.

Practice: Leaves can be chewed and spit on skin problems and burns.
Effect: The gel inside of the leaves helps cure skin problems and burns.
Note: NOT to be taken when pregnant or nursing.

Name: Borage
Description: The plant can be distinguished by its small blue or pink star-shaped flowers and hairy leaves.
Location: Grows best in forests.
Practice: Chewed an eaten.
Effect: Leaves and roots are to be chewed and eaten to reduce and stave off fevers. The seeds helping newly mothers to provide more and better milk.

Name: Broken Rosemary Blooms
Description: The flowers of the Rosemary are: white, pink, purple or deep blue.

Effect: Heals wounds near the eyes or eyelids; also helps for eye infections.

Name: Burdock
Description: A tall-stemmed, sharp-smelling thistle with dark leaves.
Location: Best in dry areas.
Practice:
- Burdock leaves: If chewed, should be applied to a NON-INFECTED wound.
- Burdock Root: The sap is used for (rat) bites; usually infected ones; may also draw out infection, which is applied to rat bites.
Effect:
Burdock leaves: To speed up healing.
Bordock Root: Lessens the pain of bites, especially rat bites.
Note: A healer must dig up the roots, wash off the dirt and chew them into a pulp.

Description: A plant with fuzzy green balls on long clining stems.

Effect: Burrs are used to help hold treatment onto a wolf.

Description: A flowering plant.

Name: Chervil
Description: A sweet-smelling plant with large, leafy, fern-like leaves and small white flowers.
Location: Forest.
Practice:Chewed to extract the juice of the leaves or the root.
Effect: Used to soothes eyes, especially for blind or nearly blind wolves. Juice is used for infected wounds. Root is chewed on to ease bellyache. Can be used during labor.

Name: Chickweed
Description: Tall-stemmed plant with fat, almond-shaped leaves.
Location: In the Forest.
Practice: Eaten
Effect: Treats greencough, though catmint is often preferred. Which kits and elders usually catch in the season of leaf-bare. Can also be used for whitecough.
Note: No Catmint in existence, so this is the only remedy. For cougars. Wolves also?

Name: Cobwebs
Description: Long, thin, shiny strands spun into a web by spiders. Very common.
Location: Everywhere around you.
Practice: Press over wound.
Effect: T o soak up and stop (or slow) the bleeding. It may also be used to bind broken bones.
Note: Watch out not to take the spider with you when harvesting it and or applying it to your patient.

Name: Coltsfoot
Description: A flowering plant with yellow or white flowers resembling dandelions.
Location: Unknown.
Practice: Leaves chewed into a pulp.
Effect: Used to help with coughs, especially for pups. As well as cracked or sore pads.

Name: Comfrey
Description: It has large leaves, small bell-shaped flowers, which are pink, white, or purple, and fat, black roots. Tangy smell.

Practice: Roots are chewed into a poultice.
Effect: Repairs broken bones or soothes wounds. Also used for wrenched claws. Can be used for itching, used for inflammation on stiff joints.

Description: Common yellow-flowered plant with long, hollow stems.
Location: Unknown.
Practice: The white liquid is applied to bee stings. Leaves can be chewed.
Effect: Soothes and heals bee stings. Its leaves can also be chewed to act like a painkiller.

Name: Dock
Description: Common, large-leafed plant with a tangy smell and taste.
Location: Doesn't grow well in mountains, best in leafy areas.
Practice: Chewed up and applied to scratches. Similar to sorrel.
Effect: Soothes scratches, though can sting when being applied. Also used to make fur slippery when stuck in a tight space.

Description: A sweet, golden-coloured liquid made by bees.
Location: In honeycombs or bees nests up in trees.
Practice: Eaten, or given by moss soaked in it.
Effect: Soothes infections, smoke-damaged or sore throats, and helps wolves swallow other concoctions. Works particularly well on pups.

Description: A low-growing flower, yellow to bright orange.

Practice: Petals or leaves chewed in a poultice. Juice can be used as well.
Effect: Stops infection. Stops bleeding. Used for inflammation of stiff joints.

Name: Mouse Bile
Description: Extracted from the mouse, has a foul smell.
Location: a mouse, happy hunting. Or from their drops or vomit
Practice: Dipped on a tick. When not needed, it’s stored in moss.
Effect: Tick falls off.
Note: Smell can be masked by wild garlic, or by washing paws in running water. If accidentally swallowed, can leave a horrible taste in mouth for days. Healers always have to remember to wash their paws in a body of water, such as a creek or stream, after using mouse bile.

Description: A long-stemmed plant with ragged-edged crinkly leaves, Sharp scent, tastes cold and fresh, tastes the same fresh or dried.

Effect: Stops a newly mother from producing milk if her pups die, don't need milk anymore, or are producing too much milk. Also used to cure bellyache.

Description: Small black seeds that are shaken out of a dried poppy flowerhead.

Name: Stinging Nettle
Description: It has green, spiny seeds.
Location: All over the forest.
Practice: The seeds are eaten by a wolf who's swallowed poison, or the leaves are chewed into a poultice for a wound.
Effect: Induces vomiting, or brings down swelling, respectively. Can be mixed with comfrey to help heal broken bones. Helps with wounds.
Note: Gotten an itch from this plant? You can use Horsetail, dock leaf or jewelweed, underside of a fern, and others.

Name: Tansy
Description: The tansy plant has round, yellow leaves, and has a very sweet and strong scent, making it good for disguising a wolf’s scent.

Practice: To be consumed, but only in small doses.
Effect: Cures coughs. Can be used to cure wounds and poisons. Stops cougars from getting greencough. Soothes throats. Ants hate it.

Description: It has a strong, romantic scent to it and a sharp taste.

Description: A flowering plant.

Practice: ts leaves are chewed into a poultice that can be given to wolves or applied to a wound depending on the situation.
Effect: Extracts poison from wounds. Will make a wolf vomit up toxins. The ointment will soften and help heal cracked pads.

Name: Birthwort
Description: The plants are aromatic and their strong scent attracts insects.
Location: Unknown.
Practice: accelerates childbirth.
Effect: When chewed, induces contractions during labor.
Note: Careful, this plant is toxic!

Name: Deathberries
Description: Red berries from the dark-leaved and poisonous yew bush.
Location: Unknown.
Practice: Taking a life without spilling blood.
Effect: The berries can easily kill a wolf (Typically, about six will kill an otherwise healthy soldier) if eaten and not expelled quickly enough. So is also any other part of the plant.

Name: Foxglove Seeds
Description: Tiny, black seeds from the bell-shaped flower of the foxglove plant.
Location: Unknown.
Practice: They are used to treat the heart.
Effect: They can easily cause paralysis and heart failure.
Note: Easily mistaken for poppy seeds, because they look extremely similar.

Name: Holly Berries
Description: Plant with spiny leaves that produces red berries with no medicinal value.
Location: Unknown.
Practice: Unknown.
Effect: Kills easily a pup.
Note: Not as dangerous as deathberries, but that doesn’t say you may eat them.

Name: Nightshade
Description: Tubular flower with radiating petals.
Location: Unknown.
Practice: To kill a wolf who cannot be saved quickly.
Effect: Poisonous.
Note: also known as the Belladonna.

Name: Water Hemlock
Description: Green or white flowers with petals in umbrella-shaped clusters.
Location: Unknown
Practice: Unknown.
Effect: Causes writhing and foaming at the mouth.
Note: Is a very poisonous plant. Yarrow is a cure for this.
