Report for Duty - A New Universe

Ok.

A New Universe is going to be moving ahead soon. Everyone still participating, please post here.

If you feel you can't go ahead, please tell us. If possible, I would like to resolve any character storylines for those who cannot continue.

Anyone who doesn't post will be considered MIA. Your character will not be gone, but we will assume you can't participate, and ignore your characters, until you are able to post again.

I hope none of this sounds too harsh, but its the only way I can think to bring us out of this bottleneck.

Edit: I'm going to post a second part to the New Universe thread here shortly. The first post will be a status and update post. Just a quick post to get the thread up and help remind us where we all were.

Yey!!!! after a long season stop, the show continues, so shall the crew of the USS Defiant find their way home? Or are they going to be stuck here for ever? All i can say is stay tuned!

Aye, Kotie, I've seen it. I'm just trying think of how we can contiue. Without Ru along, it would be pretty hard, being he was the captain.

We are going to pick up where we left off as soon as we get everything together. Season 2 should start pretty soon. :p

Yes, without a captain, the story can get difficult, but there is also the First Officer (Will). Who usually takes over his place in, in times when a Captain is unfit for duty.... But how shall they AI respond to that?

Right now he is on his way back to the ship, while the others are heading to the sickbay with the patient. All i can think of, is responding to what Will has said and... sense something that has happened on the bridge of the damaged ship. (only if sensors allowed that to scan that far).

Well... if Ru can't participate in the Laughing Fox RP anymore... we could always have the fracture in the ship thats draining the atmosphere break open. Sucking those posters not present to suck into space.

The trip can be violent and while we can rescue them, they could be placed in a coma. That way, they could return to their characters at any time.

But, I'd want their permissions before I did something so drastic.

I think that this can be a last resort action, sadly is that the Fox doesn't have a transporter, even it kills the original char and makes a clone of him, while self not noticing it, plus the others.

But it seems like me and you are the "main cast" of both rps and the rest is just guest stars.... how well... they are now part of it, for playing it for a long time.

I should be able to continue.

I now must decide if I want to just start with when I leave Eos and use the material I have written out as flashbacks or finish writing the next little bit up and get caught up asap with everyone else.

Whichever method you want to use is your choice. I'm thinking when we start again, we will be docked on the station. I'll do my best to tie up the loose ends I left.

If nothing else, I just hope all the work I put into giving the character status update in Part 2 thread won't go to waste.

We can do a short skip in time ahead, like 3 hours later. As i think it is not really needed o follow everyone from minute to minute.

So we can just pick out the important moments for a summery of season 1, start of season 2.

As I said before, good to have you back in, Phi. You and Kotie have always been the backbone to this thread for quite some time, heh. Wouldn't have survived as long as it did without you.

Ah, the group is mostly here. Gild expressed interest in continuing as well. I believe I will kick off the new posting within a few days.

We can wait longer for Ru, if anyone likes to. I'd still like to hear from him before we proceed, if that is at all possible.

So I'll be somewhat unavailable for about a week, so I'd say that long. You can go ahead and get stuff going if you like. I'd suggest to have us docked at the station or something. I'll have some access but I don't know how much.

Good to hear from you Ru. Alright, we have plenty of time to get started. I'm going to tentatively post and open the New Universe RP thread within a week's time. In the meantime, the Secondary ship RP is still open, and ready to proceed at any time.

Also, Real-Life takes precedence, we understand Ru. I hope things work out for you, in that regard.
